
Culinary Management: High School Only
About the Class
This course offers a unique blend of management training with culinary training for high school students. Students with previous Culinary Arts experience will take part in developing management techniques used in an on campus restaurant. Students will use tools specific to restaurant management to gain an understanding of supervision. Students will participate in activities to develop leadership and teamwork skills while collaborating with others. Students will gain an understanding of the importance of professional ethics and the legal responsibilities while solving a variety of problems using critical thinking skills. This course runs concurrently with another culinary arts course. Previous year required (prerequisite- International Foods A & B)
