About the Class

This dance class is designed to help students develop dance knowledge through fundamentals, improvisation, and choreography. Students will be able to execute movement combinations and exercises progressing to higher skill levels as well as incorporating different dance concepts into their choreography. Students will also explore the history of a variety of dance forms. This class also provides an opportunity for a student to stage his/her own choreography or to participate as a dancer in original choreography by a student during the showcase in the Spring semester.
