Beginning Band
About the Class

Beginning Band teaches the basics on how to read music to play an band instrument. No musical experience is required. A variety of musical styles are learned. Concerts are given so families and friends can hear how each student’s part fits with the whole group. At SOCES, a student can continue to gain experience and progress to the Junior and Symphonic Bands, and our nationally recognized Wind Ensemble!
