About the Class

AP Psychology will allow you to explore the ideas, theories, and methods of the scientific study of behavior and mental processes. You’ll examine the concepts of psychology through reading and discussion and you’ll analyze data from psychological research studies. By taking this course you will learn the following skills:

Connecting psychological concepts and theories to real-life scenarios

Understanding and interpreting psychological data

Analyzing research studies in psychology
This course is equivalent to a one-semester college course in psychology and there are not recommended prerequisites to take the course. This is a college level course and will require study skills and work habits as does any other AP College Board course.
